Moving on

It seems that I may have a new job starting next week. It didnt take very long at all this time – about two weeks in total. Of the three applications I sent out, I got two offers. My CV has powered up considerably over the last few months which is a good thing. Plus I have learnt a lot from my last engagement and am looking forward to not making the same mistakes.

A slight problem is that I have a 0.5 / 1 day a week job that is going to last till March or April next year. Which means I’ll have to work an extra 4 to 8 hours per week. Good for earnings, not so good for free time.

Anyway, it’s goodbye to my desk in the shared office in Fitzroy and the leisurely breakfast and lunches on Brunswick Street. After the last few months, I can honestly say that I’ll swap remote work in groovy surroundings for on-site work in less cool areas anytime.
